Vladislava Kolosova

Vladislava Kolosova was born 1987 in St. Petersburg and grew up in unruly perestroika Russia. At the age of twelve she moved to Germany with her family. In 2014 she received an MFA in creative writing from New York University, where she studied with Jonathan Safran Foer and Zadie Smith, amongst others. She works as a journalist in Berlin and is working on her first novel. Her short stories have appeared in Ploughshares and The Iowa Review.
