Tony Gorry

Tony Gorry was Friedkin Professor Emeritus of Management at Rice University. Over a long career, he published many academic articles. In retirement, he turned to writing essays, memoir, and short stories. These works have appeared in The Fiddleback, The Journal of the American Medical Association, The Chronicle Review, The Examined Life, The New Atlantis, Cleaver Magazine, and War, Literature and the Arts. His book Memory’s Encouragement was published by Paul Dry Publishing in April 2017. He died in October 2018.
