Melodie is a graduate of the University of Michigan Creative Writing Master’s Program on a Colby Fellowship. She received two Hopwood Awards there for her fiction and nonfiction. She currently lives and writes in Laramie, Wyoming where she received a Frank Nelson Doubleday Award for Women from the Wyoming Arts Council for her short fiction. Her agent, Gail Hochman, is currently circulating her novel set in the American West.
