Kevin Jacob Kelley has written for The Independent, High Country News, Entropy, The Massachusetts Review, Potomac Review, Eastern Iowa Review, Santa Ana River Review, Thin Air Literary Magazine, and the now-closed Crixeo Magazine.
His recent essay "Po-Tay-To/Po-Tah-To" was nominated for a Pushcart 2021 Prize and was a Best American Essays 2020 Notable Essay. He is a yearly reader for Best of the Net and a Professor of English and Literature at Red Rocks Community College near Denver, CO.
Kevin holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Wyoming, an MA in English from Boise State University and a BA in Psychology from Boise State University.
