Kate Washington

Kate Washington is a freelance writer and editor. She writes about food and travel, primarily in Northern California, for magazines and newspapers, and is a contributing writer for Sactown Magazine. Her work has been published in Sunset, Via, the San Francisco Chronicle, Yoga Journal, Cooking Light, and Yoga Journal, among other publications. She also does developmental and copy editing in a range of fields, from academic tomes to cookbooks. She holds a Ph.D. in English from Stanford University.
