Heidy Steidlmayer's poems have appeared in Poetry, TriQuarterly, Ploughshares, Literary Imagination, Michigan Quarterly Review, and elsewhere. Steidlmayer is the recipient of the J. Howard and Barbara M.J. Wood Prize from Poetry and a Rona Jaffe Writers' Award. She is the author of a book of poems, Fowling Piece (2012), which received the John C. Zacharis Award from Ploughshares and the Kate Tufts Discovery Award.
