Evelyn Hampton


Evelyn Hampton is the author of the chapbook We Were Eternal and Gigantic (Magic Helicopter Press), the book of short stories Discomfort (Ellipsis Press), and the long essay The Aleatory Abyss. Her writing can be found in BOMB, The Brooklyn Rail, Catapult, The Denver Quarterly, New York Tyrant, Birkensnake, Conjunctions, and other venues. She graduated with an MFA from the Literary Arts program at Brown University and an MA in Rhetoric, Scientific and Technical Communication from the University of Minnesota.
