E. K. Ota received her MFA in creative writing from Emerson College. She is a Southern California native and has spent time in Kyoto and Nagoya, Japan. Her fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in Narrative, Belmont Story Review, and Assisi. She currently lives in Massachusetts.
