Christine Sneed is the author of two novels, Little Known Facts and Paris, He Said(Bloomsbury) and two short story collections, Portraits of a Few of the People I've Made Cry and The Virginity of Famous Men (Bloomsbury).

She has published stories in The Best American Short Stories 2008, Ploughshares, The Southern Review, New England Review, Glimmer Train, Story, Boulevard, Chicago Quarterly Review, and many other journals. Her work has received the Grace Paley Prize in Short Fiction, Ploughshares' Zacharis Prize, Chicago Writers Association Book of the Year Award, The Chicago Public Library Foundation's 21st Century Award, among others. She has been a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and Chicago Review of Books Fiction Award. She teaches at Northwestern University and for Regis University's low-residency MFA program.
