C. G. Hanzlicek

C. G. Hanzlicek was born on August 23, 1942, in Owatonna, Minnesota. He lives with his wife and daughter in Fresno, California, where he is Professor of English at California State University, Fresno. His other collections of poetry are Living In It (1971) and Stars, which was the winner of the 1977 Devins Award. He has also published a book of translations of American Indian songs, A Bird's Companion (1974).
