Bud Shaw has had an interest in writing all the way back to grade school and took several literature courses as an undergraduate at Kenyon College in Ohio. Over the past five to six years, he's been participating in writing workshops with fellow physicians in the Omaha, Neb. area, where he's lived for the last 25 years.
