Bobby C. Rogers

Bobby C. Rogers is Professor of English and Writer-in-Residence at Union University. His book Paper Anniversary won the Agnes Lynch Starrett Poetry Prize, was nominated for the Poets' Prize, and received the Lilly Fellows Program in Humanities and the Arts' 2012 Arlin G. Meyer Prize in Imaginative Writing. LSU Press will publish his next book in the Southern Messenger Poets series edited by Dave Smith. His poem "Jerry Lee Lewis Plays 'That Lucky Old Sun' at Bad Bob's Vapors Club, Memphis, Tennessee" is forthcoming in the Everyman's Library Poems of the American South.
