Bernard Quetchenbach

Bernard Quetchenbach’s most recent book is The Hermit’s Place, a collection of poems published in 2010 by Wild Leaf Press. His poems, essays, and articles have appeared in a variety of books, journals, and anthologies; his work has recently been published in The Ecopoetry Anthology; Trash Animals: How We Deal with Nature’s Feral, Filthy, Invasive, and Unwanted Species; and Earthlines Review. Two of his essays have been designated as Notable Essays by Best American Essays; one was featured on the NPR show Living on Earth. He has degrees in creative writing (SUNY Brockport) and American Literature (Purdue University) and teaches in the Department of English, Modern Languages, and Philosophy at Montana State University Billings. He is a fellow of the International League of Conservation Writers.
