Art Hanlon

Art Hanlon was born in Brooklyn, New York. After serving in the Marine Corps, he attended the University of California at Berkeley, earning a BA in American history and English and an MA in journalism. He’s been a newspaper reporter, a country blues musician, a theater set carpenter, a technical writer, and a book editor. An associate poetry editor for Narrative, Hanlon has recently earned an MFA from the University of California, Riverside.
