Amanda Rea

Also credited as A. R. Rea, Amanda earned her MFA at the University of California-Irvine. Her stories and essays have appeared in the The Pushcart Prize XXV, The Missouri Review, The Kenyon Review, The Sun, Iowa Review, Indiana Review, Glimmer Train, Green Mountains Review, New South, and Wazee. Her work has received the William Peden Prize in Fiction, and has been short-listed for the Best American Short Stories anthology. She has received fellowships from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, the Institute of Creative Writing in Wisconsin, Jentel Artist Residency, and the Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts in Wyoming.

She has taught writing at the University of California-Irvine, Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Oakhill Correctional Facility, and elsewere.
